DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Federal Building on New Bern Avenue in Raleigh on Jan 20 at 12:30 pm for a rally with speakers and song. RSVP here \n  \nThis year\, our movement and our world lost Joye Braun\, a true warrior and force of nature. As part of the national Joye Braun Day of Action\, we’ll join water protectors across Turtle Island to take action in Joye’s honor against fossil fuels projects on January 20th – both Joye’s birthday and the second anniversary of the end of the Keystone XL pipeline\, that Joye worked hard to stop. \n  \nWe’ll be calling on President Biden to declare a climate emergency and connecting that with why we need to STOP the Mountain Valley Pipeline and MVP Southgate\, and how we need a stronger NC Carbon Plan. \n  \nIn the words of Joye herself:  “President Biden: Be a climate warrior not a wimp.
