SUMMARY:Duke Energy Open House & Protest- Davidson County
DESCRIPTION:Duke Energy representatives are coming to Davidson and Davie counties and hosting two drop-in open houses about its massive proposed methane gas project. This is a chance for you to ask Duke staff questions about its plans\, as well as share your concerns about the project. \nConcerned residents will also gather outside the open houses to protest Duke Energy’s plans and tell them we don’t want this polluting project. There will be community speakers sharing their perspectives starting at 6 p.m. \nAttend one or both of the open houses to ask Duke questions and tell them no dirty gas complex on the Yadkin River! Community advocates will also be present to share more information about the projects. Wear green!

DESCRIPTION:The next public hearing before County commissioners will be Tuesday\, Sept 8\, with presentations from Data Center developer\, ELS\, and County Staff starting at 5pm. There will be a public comment window from 6 to 9pm.
