Shale Gas Meeting in Sanford – Monday October 10

Do you: have concerns or ideas for the upcoming NC study of shale gas? Want to participate in the public decision making process? Have personal experience, expertise or resources about fracking? Then please consider attending the Dept. of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)’s public meeting on Monday, Oct. 10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Sanford at the McSwain Extension Education & Agriculture Center (2420 Tramway Rd.) You can take a look at the draft study plan, and submit written comments by Oct. 18, in addition to any oral comments at the Oct. 10 meeting.
